8-yard skips are sometimes referred to as builder’s skips. An 8-yard skip is an excellent choice when renovating your business premises or performing house extension projects and is the most popular kind of skip used. They are suitable for a wide range of domestic and commercial jobs, and the largest size can carry heavy loads such as bricks, rubble and concrete, making them a favoured choice for builders and tradesmen.
If you wish to place your skip on the road, a skip permit is to be expected. This size of skip is usually the maximum size permitted on public highways.
